Degrassi Episode 10: Grand Theft Auto

Sav pushes his luck, Fiona’s new friend is a pig and Jenna learns the importance of reading the small print on pill bottles.

Jenna is unfortunately continuing her quest for self-perfection and has decided to start taking diet pills to lose weight for the cheerleader calendar shoot. Ecstatic that she had lost three pounds, Jenna confides in Anya about her extra help. Anya, for once, is the voice of reason and cautions Jenna about the side affects of the pills.

During rehearsal for the photo shoot Jenna gets to the top of the human pyramid when the most embarrassing of all the side affects kicks in.

The fat that the pills promise to not store in your bod has to escape somehow and the only way out is through the back door.

KC, being the sweetest boyfriend evah, brings Jenna a change of pants and reminds her that he loves everything about her just as she is now. I think this is the first episode this season that we haven’t seen them fight in! Yay!

Sav, Eli and Adam have come up with a plan to send Sav’s parents to the movies to give the guys time to steal the truck and get to the Dead Hand concert and back before the Bhandari’s notice their ride and their son are both missing. Everything seems to be going well and they even get to say hi to the band.

Things start going not so well when the guys, plus one very drunk Bianca, realize they’re not going to make it home before the movie ends. Sav starts speeding to make up for lost time, but gets pulled over by the police. Good news? He didn’t get pulled over for speeding! Bad news? He did get pulled over because his parents reported the truck as stolen.

After getting bailed out of the big house Sav’s dad, not surprisingly, yelled at Sav for being a bit of a tool. Sav, surprisingly, stood up for himself and finally told his dad that taking away his friends, his girlfriend and his music sucks. About time, Sav! He’s grounded for two months, but at least Sav finally acted like an adult (except for the lying and stealing part).

Sav’s parents might be upset with him, but Eli and Adam think he’s the illest senior ever.

Fiona has decided that bringing her new pet pig to school is a good idea. Um, it ain’t.

Since Holly J doesn’t have time for Fiona, Porcelina (the piggy) has now become Fiona’s new, less talkative friend.

Holly J shows up at Fiona’s apartment and apologizes to the new pet owner. Then she helps Fiona clean up the pigsty that used to look like a nice condo.

Will the cheerleaders ever let Jenna live down the humiliation of doing a twosies in her pants? Will Sav’s parents agree they’re too hard on him? Will Fiona and Holly J actually stay friends this time? Find out tomorrow night on an all new episode of Degrassi at 9pm ET!
