Degrassi Episode 1204 Recap: Walking On Broken Glass Part 2

July 19th, 2012

Drew tries impressing Bianca and winds up in the hospital, Eli figures out how to make the play with Becky his own and Tristan comes clean to Campbell about impersonating Maya. Find out what happened on tonight’s brand new episode of Degrassi!

Watch Degrassi four times a week every Monday to Thursday at 10 pm ET on MuchMusic.

Tristan spent all night chatting with Campbell on Maya’s Facerange page and shows up to class with notes to inform Maya of all the things that he and Campbell chatted about. These things include auditioning for the musical.

It’s time for the first auditions for Romeo and Juliet and Becky is ready with her camcorder and perfect smile. Eli shows up with his perfect scowl, which quickly turns to a frown after spending five seconds with Becky.

Tori, Tristan and Maya are all auditioning for the musical and Tristan’s singing voice, is, well, more like a talking voice.

Eli is impressed with Tristan’s original take, but Becky quickly dismisses him.

Clare finds Eli working on the Juliet auditions and Eli complains about his creative differences with Becky.

Clare points out that if Eli wants to go to NYU then he’s going to have to get better at working with different personalities. She suggests that Eli figure out how to make the play his own, giving Eli an idea.

Tristan sees that he didn’t get a part and feeling upset, he texts Campbell posing as Maya and complains that he didn’t get a part. Campbell suggests that ‘Maya’ tell the director off.

Tristan finds Eli in the gym and begins to tell the director off, but Eli stops him long enough to offer Tristan the role of Jules, not Juliet.

In Tristan’s words, Eli is a ‘magnificent bastard’. Tristan texts Campbell and tells him that he got the lead, forgetting that he’s supposed to be Maya.

Campbell finds Tristan and Maya in the hall and congratulates Maya on her lead. The farce is up. Tristan admits that it was him, not Maya, taking to Campbell on Facerange.

Tristan hopes they can still be friends, but Campbell tells the two students that he will never, ever be friends with either of them.

At the first play practice, Becky arrives to find Eli with Tristan, who is rehearsing as Jules. Eli tells Becky about his decision to make Romeo and Juliet a love story between two male leads and Becky threatens to go to Principal Simpson.

Unfortunately for her, Principal Simpson thinks the choice is inspired. Becky doesn’t understand how they can have a school play that condones homosexuality and tells Eli that she has to quit.

Drew has become the centre of attention at school after everyone saw him on video at the pep rally, but the only one who doesn’t want his attention is Bianca. In an attempt to get Bianca back, Drew has bought her a bejeweled cell phone case. When that doesn’t work (shocker), Drew agrees to try out for the academic quiz team, which Bianca has now joined.

Adam helps Drew study geography for his academic team try out and things start turning around when Drew realizes that he can use knowledge from movies for geography. This gives slackers hope everywhere.

It’s time for Drew’s try out and he has one minute to answer as many questions as possible. He’s not feeling well, but doesn’t want to back out of the try out and risk out on a chance to impress Bianca.

Connor asks Drew the same questions he got right the night before with Adam, but Drew can’t answer anything.

Adam finds Drew at his locker and sees that his brother doesn’t look so good. Drew calls Adam Gracie by mistake and then collapses on his younger brother. Um, what the heck? Can you brain actually explode from studying too much?

Drew’s fall down the stairs at his party resulted in a concussion and because it went undiagnosed, it continued to get worse.

In front of his mother and the doctor, Drew admits that while he was doing MMA fighting he got hit so hard in the head that he blacked out. Mrs. Torres tends to overreact, but in this situation her yelling is justified.

The doctor wants Drew to reduce his class work and make sure that he’s resting while he’s not in school.

Drew is back at school and trying to finish his English test, but he can’t get past the first few pages.
Adam filled Bianca in on Drew’s head injuries and she checks on him.

But Drew doesn’t want Bianca’s sympathy and tells her that she deserves someone smarter.

Drew goes to the mall to return the phone case he bought Bianca and sees another customer stealing an iPhone.

Drew chases the thief into the food court and catches him, then passing out right on top of the thief. So much for resting.

Worried about Drew, Bianca followed him to the mall and confronts him, telling him that he can’t keep hurting himself. She also tells him that she still loves him. Drewanca lives!
