Degrassi Episode 18: I’ll stand by you

Jenna has to tell KC her secret, Connor’s friendship goes too far and Anya helps Riley get Zane back.

Things are about to get real up in hurre! Jenna is preggers fo sho and now it’s time to tell KC. I’m sure this will go smoothly…like sandpaper. Jenna tries to tell KC at school, but he interrupts her to say that he is so happy with his life right now and he’s so glad everything is perfect. Awesome.

Finally, Jenna drops the bomb on KC. He actually takes the news pretty well and is the supportive boyfriend we all know and love. That is, as long as Jenna agrees to have an abortion.

Jenna’s brother Kyle (well hai thurre) is her legal guardian and accompanies Jenna to the doctor’s appointment, where they get some bad news. Jenna is five months along in her pregnancy, which means terminating the pregnancy at this point is extremely risky.

Jenna tells KC this and, well, KC loses his shizz. Can’t really blame him. This is some heavy stuff to deal with at 16.

Unfortunately, KC’s support for Jenna was only if she ended the pregnancy and now she can’t. Jenna is on her own, but thankfully has her older brother to help her.

After Dave and Welsey told Simpson about Connor’s older friend, Connor has frozen Dave and Wesley out of his life.

Because of the sitch Simpson has taken Connor’s computer privileges away.

Connor is capital P peeved, but manages to sneak on the computer to set up a time to meet with his online friend.

She picks him up at the school (is she trying to get arrested?) and immediately starts getting handsy with Connor. Thankfully, Connor jumps out of the car and she speeds away. Props to Degrassi for showing that guys can be victim to older people trying to have inappropriate relationships with them. Usually we just see young girls being assaulted by men on TV and in the news. Er’body has to be careful!

Connor tells Simpson and Ms. Oh about the woman and Simpson let’s Connor have his computer privileges back…as long as Simpson gets to play computer games with him. Connor, Dave and Wesley make up. The Three Tenners are back, y’all!

Riley and Anya are still hanging out at the hospital trying to figure out whether Dr. McSteamy is gay or straight. They pretend to be asking him questions for an assignment (nice cover, dudes) to get info on his dating past. After two minutes of hair pulling answers (my partner, they’re a Doctor, they have a unisex name) we finally find out (drum roll please) he’s straight. Sad face for Riley.

Anya asks Riley what he’s really looking for in a partner and Riley says everything that describes Zane short of saying ‘his name has to rhyme with cane.’ Back at school Anya and Riley are sitting outside the studying, so Anya and her matchmaker-ways calls Zane over to help Riley with a math problem. Oh, she’s smooth! She’s so smooth!

Will KC change his mind and decide to be involved in Jenna’s pregnancy? Will Connor ever hear from his ex-friend? Will Riley and Zane finally get together? Will Anya score herself a hot doc-tah? Find out tomorrow on an all new episode of Degrassi at 9pm ET!
