Degrassi Episode 26: All falls apart

Alli makes a life changing decision and Jenna’s revelation heats up the competition in Next Teen Star! Spoiler alert! If you missed tonight’s episode you can watch it here and read the last recap here!

We’re almost through the first week back at Degrassi, but that doesn’t mean the drama is going anywhere! While getting dropped off at school by her dad, Alli runs into Drew and introduces him to Mr. Bhandari, telling her father that they’re on the Science Team together. Mr. B seems to buy it. Clare, on the other hand, does not.

She is mucho peeved that Alli is giving Drew a second chance, but Alli is convinced that Drew didn’t do anything wrong and it’s all Bianca’s fault. Rightttttt.

Alli meets Wesley and Connor in the science lab to practice for the Science Olympics, but unfortunately that means Bianca knows exactly where she’ll be. Bianca screams at Alli for getting her suspended after sending the nekkid photos of Bianca to the entire school and they proceed to kick the bejeebus out of each other. First Eli and Fitz, now Bianca and Alli! Degrassi needs a bigger wrestling team, because these students love to make it rain fists!

Simpson, looking terrified, breaks the girls up and calls the Bhandari’s. While explaining the fight to Alli’s parents, some of Alli’s other issues come up and then one thing leads to another and Alli’s file has fallen into her parents hands. They learn about the boiler room, the sexting, the shame.

Alli has been suspended because of the fight and at home there is another fight waiting for her. Alli’s mom has found her diary and demands to know what is in it. Alli admits that last year she had another boyfriend (Johnny) and that after they had sex she was tested for STI’s. Alli’s parents feel like they don’t know who she is and Alli feels like her world is over.

The next day at school Alli and Sav meet up with Holly J. Alli complains that Sav is now her chaperon because Bianca ruined everything. Holly J points out that Bianca didn’t force Drew into the boiler room and Sav says that if it wasn’t Bianca Drew cheated with it would be someone else. With this in mind, Alli makes the difficult decision to leave Degrassi. She realizes that all her bad decisions seem to come from trying to impress boys and that the best plan of action would be to go to an all girls school.

While cleaning out her locker the next day, Drew approaches Alli and asks to walk her to class. Alli lays a well-deserved verbal whooping on Drew and tells him once and for all that they’re over and that he never deserved a second chance (amen, sistah!).

Alli feels like her life has fallen apart, but Clarebear stands up like the good friend she always is and reminds Alli that she knows the real, nice, funny and sweet Alli and that they’ll always be best friends. And then…Alli takes her last walk down the halls of Degrassi. Tear.

Meanwhile, Jenna is getting major props from people (mostly an overexcited Chantay) about her baby revelation. Ya know who isn’t jazzed about the whole world knowing she’s got a bun in the oven? That would be the baby daddy himself, KC. KC is uber peeved that Jenna told the world before he had time to tell his mom.

The baby news seems to be working! Jenna has received a ton of positive comments on the Next Teen Star site and people are sending stuffed animals to her at school. KC even texted Jenna to talk. Maybe he’s changed his mind and wants to be involved?

Meh, not so much. Jenna meets KC at The Dot, but it’s more because his mom wanted to see Jenna. She asks Jenna what her plan is to get money for the baby and Jenna is convinced that she’s going to win Next Teen Star and all her problems will be solved. KC and his mom (and ME!) are not so convinced.

Jenna’s main competitor accuses her of using her pregnancy to get votes. But will it be enough?

She’s in the bottom two for the second week in a row. And unfortunately, her time on Next Teen Star is…over.

Out of options, Jenna asks KC’s mom to coffee to apologize for being defensive and finally asks for help. KC’s mom tells Jenna that she will be there for Jenna and the next day at school KC gives Jenna a book of baby names from his mom. Does this mean that KC might want to be involved with Jenna again?

Will Alli ever come back to Degrassi? Will Drew try to date Bianca now that Alli is gone? Will Jenna keep the baby? Will KC apologize to Jenna and try to get her back? Will Eli’s suspension ever end (where is that boy?!?)? Find out next week on an all new episode of Degrassi on Friday at 9pm ET!
