Holly J tries to deal with the actions of last night, Clare uses Eli to get back at her parents and Chantay finds herself in a sticky situation.
Spoiler alert! If you missed tonight’s episode you can watch it here and read the last recap here!
Last weeks episode ended with a kiss and by the lack of clothing on Declan, a kiss was not just a kiss! Declan may be on top of the world now that he thinks he has Holly J back, but Holly J seems to be instantly regretting her decision to cheat on Sav.

Declan wakes up on the ‘just got some’ side of the bed and makes celebratory scrambled eggs for himself and his twinsies. Fiona, ecstatic that he and Holly J are back together, lets Declan in on the truth about her drunken performance last night being not so truthful. I knew it!

Declan is on a mission to find Holly J at school and continue where they left off last night. So, he does what any person who’s just become an adulterer does; finds Sav and asks him to tell Holly J to call Declan. Um…is you crazy? Sav may be the nice guy, but I wouldn’t put it past him to throw down. We already know the Bhandari’s can fight (I’m looking at you, Alli cat).

Fiona finally finds Holly J, but HJ ain’t in the mood to talk. She tells Fiona that last night should have never happened and that she felt pressured to sleep with Declan.

Declan, who is almost levitating with excitement while waiting for news about Holly J from Fiona, is quickly brought down to earth when Fiona tells her brother about Holly J’s comments. Declan is terrified that Holly J thinks that he raped her and goes to Miss Steaks to talk to Holly J at her work. She tells him to leave and he does.

The next day at school Sav confronts Holly J and asks her if something is up. She tells him everything is fine and runs into the computer room…where she finds out…that she got into Yale! This could be the worst timing possible for such amazing news.

Fiona tells Holly J that Declan is going back to New York and she’ll never see him again. Distraught, Holly J catches Declan at Fiona’s condo before he leaves.

Holly J tells Declan that she regrets what happened the night before between them, but she doesn’t believe that Delcan raped her. She also tells him that she got into Yale, just like Declan. Holly J tells him that she needs time to figure out what happened between the two of them and Declan tells her that he’ll wait. Thus concluding the saddest ending to a relationship ever.

Meanwhile, a relationship that is still intact, but who knows for how long, is happening on the other side of Degrassi. Clare’s wild streak doesn’t show any sign of slowing down. She’s doing everything to get her parents mad at her and not each other, including inviting Eli over to dinner.

Things seem to be going okay at first. Eli is well mannered and talks about how smart Clare is, but unfortunately for everyone Clare didn’t bring her brain to dinner.

Clare brings up Eli’s atheism, his father’s occupation as a shock jock DJ and his hearse in order to appall her parents. Unfortunately, Clare didn’t think about how much this would hurt and embarrass Eli.

Clare decides to take rebellion to a new level (we’ll call this Level 7: Finding your inner Courtney Love and Taylor Momsen). Her new look doesn’t impress Eli and neither did her behaviour at dinner the night before. Eli demands to know why Clare is acting this way and she finally admits that her plan is to keep her parents mad at her and not at each other, thus stopping them from getting a divorce.

At home with her detention slip for violating the dress code (in all fairness to Simpson, this would have violated the dress code pre-Vegas Night), Clare cannot avoid the inevitable any longer. Her parents tell Clare that they’re getting a divorce. Hugely huge huge bummer.

Chantay is getting more and more frustrated with all the new rules at Degrassi and she hates that Power Squad is gone. It seems that her sticky note of rebellion has caught on in the girls bathroom. Apparently Chantay isn’t the only Panther that wants their club back.

Chantay posts a message for people who want their clubs back to meet at The Dot. They decide that since Simpson won’t talk about reinstating any clubs, it’s time to take matters into their own hands.

I guess that means covering Simpson’s car in sticky notes with messages explaining why people want their clubs back. That can’t be good for the paint job.

Chantay admits that it was her idea to use the sticky notes to get Simpson’s attention and finally is able to get the Principal to listen. Simpson agrees to let students hold a meeting where they can voice their disappointment over their clubs being canceled. Score one for Chantay! Note to kids – don’t ‘sticky-note’ your principals car. It’s just not environmentally responsible.
Will Sav find out about Holly J and Declan? Will Chantay get her clubs back? Will Clare get her common sense back? Find out on an all new episode of Degrassi next Friday at 9pm ET!
