Degrassi Episode 31: Dream a little dream with me

Jenna has feelings for a new guy, Wesley (literally) can’t contain his feelings for Anya, Adam comes up with a way to impress Fiona and the old Holly J is BACK! Spoiler alert! If you missed Friday’s episode you can watch it here and read the last recap here!

Chantay has finally gotten her way (kinda) and is allowed to organize a non-school, school thingy! She’s organized a dance and is selling stars that people can send their friends, frienemies, bf’s, gf’s, bff’s, etc. People can make wishes on the star. My locker is 299 and I will wish for a locker closer to Eli’s, just in case anyone was wondering…anywho…Jenna is excited to see something actually fun at school, but doesn’t have anyone to send a star to (danggit KC!). Sav suggests that the two of them do a duet together at the dance.

Finally! Something for Jenna to be excited about!

Jenna takes a seat next to Sav and starts spilling about how down she is with the baby coming and being alone. Sav suggests that Jenna not dismiss KC just yet. He may need time to come around.

Or he may need time to mack on other chicks. KC and Drew decide that the school doesn’t have enough rules and try their luck playing football in the hall. They end up slamming into a girl…

…who becomes much less peeved when she sees that it was two cute boys. Her name is Jessica and she is now the object of KC and Drew’s affection. Not a bad place to be, my friend.

KC decides to show some decency and ask Jenna how she’s feeling. Unfortunately, he does this from about five lockers away. She’s already pregnant, KC. You can step closer.

Jenna gets a star in class and thinks that it was KC who sent it to her. Ecstatic, she drops in on his table at lunch and asks him to accompany her to her first prenatal class that day. She also thanks him for the star, most likely freaking out new-girl, Jessica. Jenna walks away and Drew totally calls KC on taking credit for a star he didn’t send.

After school Jenna is waiting for KC in the music room while she’s practicing with Sav. KC doesn’t show and Sav admits that he sent Jenna the star. Embarrassed and upset, Jenna starts crying. Trying to comfort her, Sav tells Jenna that he’ll go with her to the prenatal class. Aw, so nice!

Sav is a big help at the prenatal class and Jenna even makes friends with a woman who is getting help, like Jenna, from a guy who isn’t her baby’s father. Jenna also gets a compliment from the woman on her LuLuLime shirt. I love their Scuba hoodies.

Drew decides to rub his star from Jessica in KC’s face, but KC doesn’t seem to care. He tells Drew that he still has feelings for Jenna, but being with Jenna means being a dad and he isn’t ready for that. Drew acts super supportive towards his friend. Wait, did I say super supportive? I meant he acted like a tool.

Before the dance Jenna is helping Holly J get things set up. Don’t let the pregnant girl lift things! Goodness, people. Jenna uses the opportunity to ask Holly J what Sav was like when Anya had her miscarriage. Holly J takes a second to remember the miscarriage, since, you know, the whole thing was made up. Holly J tells Jenna that Sav was wonderful, thus making Jenna fall even harder for her Prince Charming. Oh boy.

Sav and Jenna rock out in front of all 10 people who showed up for Degrassi’s dance. As far as Jenna is concerned, the only person there was Sav. She gives him the heavy eyes for the whole song and somehow he doesn’t seem to notice.

He definitely noticed her kissing him later! WHAZOW!

Jenna stays behind after the dance to help Holly J take down the decorations and tells Holly J the good news! She’s met someone and is ecstatic. That is, until Holly J asks who Jenna is talking about.

Holly J then informs Jenna that she and Sav have been dating. Jenna reminds Holly J that she’ll just do what she does best; steal boyfriends. And then…after 31 episodes we finally get to see what we’ve all been waiting for. Old Holly J is back!

Note to Jenna – you’re still kinda a newbie at Degrassi. If I were you I’d be making quick friends with Anya and Mia. I heard she now lives in a town called Mystic Falls.

On the less terrifying, more embarrassing side of Degrassi, we find our good friend, Wesley. The Wes-ter. Wes Side Story. Wild, Wild Wes. How the Wes Was Won. All Quiet on the Wes-tern Front. The Wes Wing. This guy.

Poor Wesley. He sends Anya a star and she wishes for a good mark on her history test and not for Wesley. He confirms their date from the bachelor auction, which seems great, but then disaster strikes. Wesley gets so worked up over the date that he falls asleep in class. No biggie. He has a wet dream about Anya. Again, no biggie. But, unfortunately, these two things happened at the same time, which results in Wesley wearing his binder out of class.

Distraught, Wesley looks to his two best buddies for guidance. They have none.

Connor suggests canceling the date. Dave suggests that Wesley calm down. Wesley is terrified that he won’t be able to control his bodily functions if Anya kisses him. I don’t want to be the Doubt Fairy here, Wes, but let’s just cross that bridge if we (EVER) get to it, mmmkay?

Things seem to be going well between Adam and Fiona. Adam sends Fiona a star, but unfortunately so does half of the school. Adam asks Fiona whether she’s going to the dance and she says ‘no’. If she was still in New York she’d be hitting up the biggest events of the season.

Adam tells his besties, Eclare, that he wants to impress Fiona, but doesn’t know how.

Eli and Clare suggest that Adam show Fiona a cool abandoned church that they like to hang out at (I heart how emo they are). Adam comes up with the idea to throw a party at the church and make it like a New York gala for Fiona. Aw ya! It’s about to get real Gossip Girl up in hurre! Throw the best party of the year, A!

The mid-season finale for Degrassi is this week! Will new Holly J out-mean old Holly J and actually throw down with a pregnant girl? Will Wesley make it through his date with Anya without an outfit change? Will Adam’s party be the bangin’ event he needs to ‘wow’ Fiona?
