Misery Loves Company by The Trews
Basketball montage.
We love The Trews! Of course they were perfect for the basketball montage with their sports-driven music. It pounds with the adrenaline on the court. What a match!
Look At Those Eyes (reloaded) by Alexz Johnson
Drew admits he’s scared.
This fantastic remix of Alexz Johnson’s Look At Those Eyes is so emotional that it was a perfect match for the scene. Drew finally admits that he’s scared, such a hard move for such a macho guy and the entire tag rolled around the song and it’s emotions.
Butterflies by Liz Coyles
Clare and Jake kiss at school.
Not quite as epic as their first kiss, so we toned the mood down a little here and made this moment more romantic than before. Clare and Jake are establishing their relationship, so we’re guiding the audience towards a sweeter side of them both.
For What It’s Worth by Maggie Eckford
Clare leaves a note on Jake’s truck.
We tried a few songs to this scene but the quirkiness of Maggie Eckford’s song stood out amongst them all. There were so many directions we could have taken but the beat, tempo and lyrics of this song sold us all.
