Could Degrassi be adding a Jersey Shore cast member to their line up? They will if Melinda Shankar, who plays Alli Bhandari on Degrassi, has anything to say about it! Last night the Degrassi and How to Be Indie star tweeted RT: if you think @VINNYGUADAGNINO should enroll as our “new student” on DEGRASSI! The MTV reality star responded to Shankar, tweeting @melindashankar i’d love that make it happen lol. Who knew that Vinny was such a Degrassi fan?!

An ecstatic Shankar replied, Jersey shore being the only show i watch. makes that tweet, my fav ever. hahah in response to Guadagnino’s tweet. So, let’s brainstorm. Who could Vinny play? One of Alli’s new teachers at her all-girls school? A record exec that is interested in signing Jenna after seeing her on Next Teen Star? Fitz’s probation officer that visits him at school? What do you think?
