The line up for Toronto and Vancouver’s We Day have been announced and this year fans will be inspired and educated by some of the world’s most influential people. From We Day veterans like Shawn Desman, Hedley, Spencer West and Nelly Furtado, to first-time We Day speakers Jennifer Hudson and Demi Lovato, the 2012 We Day events are sure to inspire and encourage the youth of today to get involved in their communities and around the world.
Canadian singer and dancer Shawn Desman is up to the task of getting We Day participants dancing during the full day festivity, saying “Similar to last year, I’ve committed to perform in all eight We Day cities. By far, my most favourite part of We Day is the kids, and seeing how excited and motivated they are to get involved and make the world a better place. It’s infectious, and makes me want to do anything I can to help.”
The largest season to date, the 2012/2013 We Day season will see more than 100,000 youths in attendance, and millions more watching online at www.muchmusic.com/weday and through the MuchMusic broadcast special premiering on on Sunday, November, 11, 2012 at 7 p.m. ET on MuchMusic.
