At the X-Factor auditions in Greensboro, North Carolina, Demi Lovato made a bold but just move as judge and booted a couple of rappers off the stage for rapping about bath salts. Not all of the contestants or audience heard the duo rap the line, “I’m high on bath salts” but apparently Demi did and did not like it. After the act was finished, Demi reprimanded them saying, “It’s really inappropriate to rap about drugs in front of kids.” Lovato has been open about her time in rehab for underage alcohol and substance abuse so of course Demi would be sensitive about the topic, especially around other impressionable minors.

This isn’t the first time Demi has spoken out for the peers of her fans. Demi spoke out against Disney and their careless scriptwriting which alluded to eating disorders being a thing to laugh about which ultimately got an episode of Shake It Up pulled from broadcast.
