This year’s VMAs are being held at the Paramount Studio’s lot in Hollywood. Yes, the lot where they have filmed every movie. Ever. Well….. you get the idea.

Currently waiting for our private tour of the stage, rehearsals, and chat with the show’s host, Mr. Russell Brand. Which, like John McCain’s vice presedential choice, may seem strange to most, unless you dig a little deeper.

Russell has not only had his own show in England for a few years (which is hilarious) but he has also appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (equally hilarious). Look him up on Youtube.

So, the question is, “how is this relative unknown comedian hosting one of the biggest shows of the year?” We’ve been promised “big surprizes” at this private tour. Which leads me to believe he’s either about to announce some huge project with MTV or he’s sleeping with someone very high up. Hmmmmm.
