After seeing Kanye West’s “Glow in The Dark Tour” the editors at NahRight.com told their readers to “Beg, borrow or steal your way into the show”. Which is exactly what Matte Babel and I had to do last night.
Now to be honest, lately I’ve been incredibly pessimistic about seeing concerts. Ive probably seen close to 500 shows in my life and I thought I had seen it all. That is until I witnessed what is most certainly the most incredible concert I have EVER seen. EVER. I’ve seen The Rolling Stones, I’ve seen U2 twice, I’ve seen Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Green Day and pretty much every other huge act that’s rolled through Toronto in the past 5 years and nothing even comes close what happened at the Molson Amphitheatre last night.
Kanye mixed his hits with a stage production that can only be described as out of this world. No, seriously. You feel like you’re on the surface of the moon or some distant planet (which is the theme of the show). There’s even a storyline throughout the show for god sake! It’s like watching a one man hiphop broadway musical mixed with the most advanced hollywood digital effects.
Basically you need to Beg, Borrow or Steal your way into this show.

Halleluja! I can finally dust off my Moon Boots (remember those yellow and purple things with soles supported by rubber bands? In one of the episodes Arthur wants to get ‘em but he’s short of flow by $10)
PS. Did you or Matte take and pics? POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST ‘EM!
