“To Be Or Not To Be”?

That seems to be the question I’m constantly asking myself. All right, “constantly” is a bit of a stretch, but certainly I spend at least 6% of my time (which is a significant amount considering how much I’m always doing) thinking about what, if anything, I am going to be for Halloween.

To you (the reader) this may seem either stupid, amazing, silly, pretentious, selfish, pompous, amazing, conceited, amazing, endearing, or finally, amazing. All of which could potentially apply in this context. (Keep the adjective you would apply to me in this situation in your head, you’re going to need it later on in this blog)

To be honest, Halloween has never been my favourite holiday or celebration or whatever it is you want to call it for the purpose of this blog. In fact, Halloween has always been an afterthought, like “What am I going to have for breakfast this coming Sunday” (despite the fact that it’s Wednesday afternoon) or “How exactly is CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta apparently an expert on everything?” (seriously)

In other words, I’ve always just assumed I’d cross the Halloween bridge when I came to it (in this case tomorrow). I don’t have an outfit yet, I don’t really care either, but I have a work party to attend tomorrow and as the (insert above adjective here) person that I am, I want to find a costume that both boggles the mind and prompts laughter (either at myself or my costume, either one will suffice).

So, to you, loyal MuchMusic blog reader, what do you think of my costume idea?

I want to go as Tobias Funke from Arrested Development.

Is this costume:

A) gay (my girlfriend seems to think so)
B) amazing, fantastic (ie: the best idea ever!)
C) completely GAY
