Lee Dewyze: Right or Wrong?

Mama Bowersox is 2010’s Idol runner-up. Lee Dewyze, the down-on-his-luck paint shop boy with his thin, scratchy voice (but in a good-sounding acoustic way) won the coveted title last night.

There was no way I could call it, as it seemed either one could have own the competition – Lee started out rocky, but clearly grew into a strong singer as the weeks went on, a crooner if you will, always accompanied with his guitar.

Bowersox, on the other hand, has always been a crowd-pleaser. The single mom (who’s been hinting to her man she wants to get married soon) has every week been met with raving results from the judges, who’ve said repeatedly that she sounds like an already accomplished singer.

So what do you think – did the underdog deserve to win, or should the blonde dreds have held the honour?
