Death From Above 1979
Queens of the Stone Age
Nine Inch Nails

Dear god!

Insane! The show, it started at 7pm on the dot. DFA were first. I had to see them. So I rushed my caffeinated ass into the concert to see these two skinny guys play an amazing show. My tickets were floor (of course) so I had to get right up front. Amazing. Oh man! SoooOOOO good! Milkshake good. Too bad most people hadn’t arrived at the show by the time they were finished. This band could’ve headlined this concert…

Now I’m a fan of Queens of the Stone Age. I thoroughly enjoyed their set. They played lots of songs. Lots of hits and some unknown stuff. It was sick. They just rock. There’s really nothing other than that you can say about them. They play flawlessly. They are hard. They’re entertaining. It’s just quality rock. That’s it. I can’t say anything more.

Now Nine Inch Nails.

I can’t do this performance justice in words. Phenomenal. They played songs that were from every album. Even a super rare song that was on the Natural Born Killers Soundtrack. Wow! Okay Nine Inch Nails, have a giant white sheet that they play behind of for part of the show. They then project video clips onto the sheet, so rather than watching the band, you’re watching a movie. But when the there is enough light on the band, you can see them through the screen, behind the movie. Oh god. It looks soooOOOO cool. They had a phenomenal lighting system. Phenomenal stage setup. Phenomenal performance. I had been waiting eleven years to see this band. It was great. So long though. Four hours the whole concert was.

I was in the mosh pit since minute one. So, I was drained by the end. All I wanted was a shower, a band aid and a bed. Lots of boots to the head. Ouch! I was totally drenched in my, and other peoples sweat. Gross! And the caffeine I consumed before the show left me wired and sketchy for the remainder of the evening. But you know what? I had a blast.
