Canadian EDM artists deadmau5 released his sixth studio record album title goes here on Tuesday and featured appearances from an impressive line up of contributors, including Imogen Heap, Gerard Way, Wolfgang Gartner and Cypress Hill. But does deadmau5′s album also include an appearance from new love Kat Von D?

Featuring a cat face inside deadmau5′s trademark mouse ears, the image may be a nod to the musician’s girlfriend. The tattooed celebrities went public with their relationship earlier this month and have been filling up one another’s Twitter timelines with affectionate messages and photos. While deadmau5 has also been very forthcoming online with his affection for his pet cat, I think the image may actually be a way of paying tribute to his new love of the human variety.

deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, responded to MTV’s question about the link between his album cover art and Kat Von D by saying “Yeah, I didn’t even think about that until after, and I was like, ‘Ah, gah,’. I say ‘gah’ to that. Five seconds on deadmau5′s Twitter and it’s obvious he’s a smitten kitten.
