You can see Cookie Couture on episode 6 of disBand tomorrow (Thursday) at 6:30pm ET! (For more show times go here). Here’s what Kitana has to say about her experience on the show.
Hey party people!!! It’s Kitana from Cookie Couture.
Ummm, where do I start?…lol. Our whole experience on disBAND was crazy. When Cookie Couture agreed to appear on the show, little did we know it would be one of the most challenging yet best times of our lives.
We met with amazing people in the industry, however, some of the challenges that were thrown our way were pretty difficult. I can’t get over how the worst possible thing that you usually see happen on reality TV actually happened to ME!!! What are the odds?!?! I’m actually still in disbelief! Everytime we tried to predict something we were thrown the curve ball. LOL.
My favorite time during the whole experience was meeting one of my favourite celebrities… Girlicious! And when they wanted to see our performance right then and there, I felt like I was dancing for my life. I danced so hard, I couldn’t breathe… LITERALLY!! It was so INTENSE!!! It was all or nothing for me.

We also got some amazing gear from NIKE!!!! OMG!!!! Just wait until you see my shoes. They are beyond DOPE!!…Totally my style.
Meeting one of the industry’s top choreographers, Blake McGrath, was another amazing moment. It actually helped us out a lot and he is someone who only works with the best… *cough* janet jackson *cough* britney spears!!! lol.

We grew so much as a group during the disBAND shooting. The experience really put our group to the test on whether we’ve got what it takes or not. Whether we’re half naked or fully clothed… we stick it through. We learnt our strengths and weaknesses and we’ll continue to work hard on them.
The whole disBAND challenge is something we’ll never forget because it’s basically a reality check, seeing that top industry judges are the ones who decide your fate. It just goes to show that just when you think you’re messing up, you can actually pull through. And just when you think that there’s nothing in your way… You could get told to freaking disBAND!
…so what happened to us you ask?? Lol. You’d have to wait and see.
See ya soon lovers lol.
Xoxo
Love, Cookie Couture.

BYEeeeeeeeeee!
Homg homg homg.
I watched that performance over and over and over again.
Like wow.
All I can say is they need something that separates them for PCD and Girlicious. If they had that, they would kill it. Kitana is great. Her rapping is sick, I’ll give her that.
In response to Madison
i think cookie couture does have something which separates them from PCD and Girlicious. These girls have characters and different styles that differentiate them from the others in the group, there’s that blonde rocker girl, and the tough tom boy, and the pretty girl, and the loud and crazy one. groups like PCD and Girlicious. They’re all alike, just one blend of different ethnicities of barbie dolls! Cookie couture is real. They’re dope huh? Also they definitly have more of a fun vibe to their style rather than the slutty skanky vibe girlicious and PCD is doin’.
I think the cookie girls Rock!!!
keep it up ladies I’m a big fan!
“…there’s that blonde rocker girl, and the tough tom boy, and the pretty girl, and the loud and crazy one…”
OOooooooh, you’re right. Ok. So you mean, they’re totally different, like The Spicegirls, right?
Oh. Wait.
lol inigo you are too funny. Why do you bother this group soo much? Are you ok? It seems like your on this wall ALL the time. The Cookies must love you, cause your always checkin up on them and you give them so much attention.
I check up on all the boards for this show. Why? Because independant music is something I hold very close to my heart, and I want Canadian music to be top, world class quality.
Sorry, am I bothering this “group”? See, I have this character flaw: I HAVE to point out stupidity when it is written/spoken/thought. So, perhaps that’s why I’m bothering this group in particular.
so inigo are you implying that the group is stupid? or the people writing posts on this blog are stupid??
or is the whole world just inferior to you?
“are you implying that the group is stupid?”
I think I’ve made my point pretty clear, but I will again, just for you, ’cause I like the cut of your jib: I don’t deny the girls have a modicum of talent. I wish they would use it for something that wasn’t aping a bunch of other ridiculous groups that were put together by marketing companies in order to seperate easily duped teenagers from their disposable cash. Clear now?
“or the people writing posts on this blog are stupid??”
I think I’ve made my point pretty clear: Yes.
“is the whole world just inferior to you?”
You said it not me. But I accept your nomination.
Those girl really rock! We will be hearing more about them! Way to go….
xoxoxox
Based on talent, I agree with the judges.
But Times had talent. So did The Homecoming, and many other bands that didn’t make it.
Your originality is worth shit. Why can’t you make something good and unlike the other ten trillion girl groups you sound exactly like with that kind of talent? Yes, I do think that is pretty stupid.
a lillllllllllllllllll bit unoriginal…
