Hello everyone!
I really hope you enjoyed the episode and had party fun times watching it! I know it must looks like we are crazy weirdo creeps but in real life, we are. So thank you MuchMusic for portraying us in such a realistic manner!
This in all honesty was a great experience and for all you musicians out there I highly suggest you try to give this a shot. Of course you have to be prepared with all the ups and downs that come with this, just think of it as a roller coaster because that’s what I did and boy you got to love that wind-in-your-hair, no-gravity feeling!
I am really glad the judges didn’t want to rip our heads of with nasty comments from the depths of hell, rather I thought their comments were very fair. I really felt that we did a good job pulling off the performance with the new band and the short time we got to do it in.
As you can probably see in the episode Lisa and I were pulled out of our comfort zone in more ways then one. We did after all say we were up for a change and my dear Lord we got one. We are so used to just the two of us playing shows that when Greig threw us 5 new musicians we nearly combusted! We tried to take it like the flying unicorns we truly are and I am glad we decided to stick with it because the end result was like magical fairy dust, truly marvellous.
Lately we have been working on improving our sound. We are practicing a little harder and taking our music a little more seriously. We have some new recording that should be up on our MySpace as well as some YouTube videos so look out for those!
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for being given this great opportunity I really truly had an awesome time. Greig and Matt you guys were great to work with and gave us a lot of insight of the music business, we learned a lot from you guys and really enjoyed your company! I also want to say thank you to my lovely producer and the nice intern that helped on our shoots as well as all the camera girls and guys. I can’t forget our makeover team and our photographer, I am sorry if there was any miscommunication between us. I do want to thank you for putting the time aside to help with the show (This last paragraph is the beginning of my speech for the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards).

Honestly I thought the performance was pretty good. Considering the the twisted scenerio much music put you guys in. Honestly Greig could’ve made u guys sound way better than a freaking musical band. Don’t stop making music because you two definitely have what it takes. Good luck!

The fact is they are not that good. They both cannot play the guitar well at all. The rhythm is all over the place.
I think Greig actually tried to do something interesting with them (perhaps greigs been listening to the weakerthans?)
I think these girls seem to have a good ear for song writing. The vocally they’re ok but they need to practice playing guitar more.

I just listened to your song and thought it was terrific!!! Don’t always listen to other people (judges) Sometimes they have there own agenda. Believe in yourself!! You guys have some things you can improve but the talent is definitely there. Remember Elvis Presley was declined as well. Good Luck!!

Hii i want katie and lisa not to get disband becuase they where really good and i liked it and that the judges should give them one more chance not to dis band them just like that cause they are nice,pretty, and good at what they performed please don’t disband them PLEASE

There’s not much i would care about ,but this one subject grab my attention and make me share my thoughts ,thats why muchmusic disband such a good singer.Katie and lisa were Excellent at the day of the judging and there music were simaler to any good artist out there.If they had put more time and practise maybe even a better coach these girl could ,no will make it to the top.So Katie and lisa Don’t Give Up…Well Not Just Yet. -

when i first heard an acoustic band was gonna be on muchmusic, i was like “hellz ya!” but to be honest, i was a bit dissapointed. your music is a tad boring and needs more passion and uniqueness. however, you do have some great songs on your myspace and katie is a good singer. p.s. greg nori is a bad guru!
