I don’t even know how to begin describing this whole experience. Shooting my episode of disBAND was crazyyy. It was a week full of challenging moments, exciting moments… every kind of moment out there. I learned a lot about myself and it’s probably hard to believe… but I think I grew a lot as an artist and person just within that one week. Working with my ‘guru’ Greig Nori, was awesome. He taught me how important risk taking is… and how risky risk taking can be! State the obvious, right? haha.

There were some frustrating decisions that had to be made during the week… but we got through all of it. And over all it was a really fun time!

Fast forward to me doing my hair and make-up in the comfort of my little bathroom on the morning of the performance day. Johnny, Matt, and Kyle were downstairs getting ready to go while I warmed up and then did a little prayer before we left.

We all scrambled into our cars and headed out to Much. Just like my Dad slash manager had planned… we were super early! So we waited at a coffee shop until it was time for sound check. 2:30 rolled around and it was time to go. After checking out the MuchMusic studios, and walking down those famous MuchMusic steps like 10 times -just for fun – and meeting the sound engineers, it was time for my sound check.

Sound check was awesome. I had a blast – it sounded so cool in that studio!! Now all I can do is wait for the performance time… 5.4.3.2.…
