You can see TIMES on episode 5 of disBand tonight at 6:30pm ET! (For more show times go here). Here’s what Alex & Paul had to say about their experience on the show.

What’s up everyone?

We hope you guys enjoyed our show as much as we enjoyed making it. They say that time flies when you’re having fun…well hell yeah it does!

Think of our episode as sort of a ‘first date’. You didn’t really know us but…now you sort of do. So whether you think we came across as huge a-holes or really genuine dudes on TV, doesn’t really matter because we’re actually just really huge a-holes in real life. You think you know, but you have no idea.

The only thing you really need to know is that we’re a band from Toronto trying to do our thing. We love to play live and get the audience going wild. When they get wild we get wild. We aren’t trying to follow trends. Some people like us and some people don’t. We’re cool with that because we’re just making music.

We know that everyone just reads the blogs so that they can get dirt on the bands so let’s cut to the chase. Performing at Much was out of this world! We played hard and tried to look really tough which is what we always do. After that the judges gave us the thumbs down. It’s too bad though because they didn’t know how to explain themselves properly. We were definitely looking forward to some constructive criticism to better ourselves, however all we were told was that we “wear our influences on our sleeves”. You can say we sound like whoever but when it comes down to it every band sounds a little bit like something else. We were upset because they never gave us a solid reason for the thumbs down…just a vague observation.

We also enjoyed the fashion lesson. We officially cannot wear sunglasses or jewellery anymore, duly noted.

Before we end this off we want to say THANK YOU to all of our badass little fans. It was really inspirational to know that we have the support of such an awesome crew. Thanks for lining up super early and selling out Much. When you booed the judges and wouldn’t stop…THAT was out of this world and greatly appreciated. Thanks especially to all the people that spontaneously decided to put on their shades when the judges said it wasn’t cool.

So that was the most exciting week of our lives and we’re stoked that we could share it with you.

Take it easy,
Alex and Paul

Lots of love to the MuchMusic Crew you guys were awesome and down to earth from the very first time we stepped foot in the building. The Homecoming – you guys know we love you and you’re like family. And to everyone who has supported us along the way…thank you!
