DJ Hero?

Soon you can be just like DJing duo Flosstradamus!

From the makers of Guitar Hero comes (wait for it)… DJ Hero!

I guess it was only a matter of time…

According to kotaku.com, the game has already been 2 years in the making, but won’t be released until the Summer of 2009. It will come with a turntable (that sits on your lap – LAME! – but might also come with a DJ stand – BETTER!), and will hopefully be full of mash-ups and will probably have the option of plugging in your original Guitar Hero guitar for some serious co-op action. (That was a lot of hopefully’s and probably’s, so this is currently just speculation and rumour.)

What excites me about this DJ Hero is the idea of mash-ups and the possibility of playing around with that. It as the potential for awesomeness.

What bores me about this is, with so many variations and versions of the Guitar Hero franchise, when do we finally reach Guitar Hero overload?
