Does Degrassi’s Munro Chambers relate to Eli?

As we saw on last Friday’s episode of Degrassi (if you haven’t watched it, drop everything and get to bissnazz!) Eli is getting a little…intense. I don’t wanna say cray cray, but we are getting dangerously close the double ‘c’. We wondered whether Munro Chambers, who plays Eli on Degrassi, relate to his gun-toting, hearse driving, nail polish wearing alter ego?
