When I found out I was going to Costa Rica, I was absolutely ecstatic! Words cannot describe how happy I was! Moreover, when I was informed we were all going to a surf camp, my heart skipped a beat; seriously! Surfing has always been something I’ve wanted to learn how to perfect.

On the departure day, I met the other contestants for the first time at 5am! It was very interesting as we were all so different, but yet had so many similarities. For example: Nick and I learned we were both in the entertainment industry, while some were in University, and one was a hard working Marketer; but regardless of occupation, we all had one amazing similarity, we all knew how to party.

Once we arrived in Costa Rica, we felt this immediate connection with the country. It was pure and yet simple in the richest ways. Our day to day adventures made us grow an understanding of integrity for the monarchy that could only be defined as Pura Vida, Purified Life!

The general public has this contagious, loving vibe that draws outsiders into their spiritual and complete utter happiness, which embraces others to join without hesitation, thought, or even acknowledgement. To put it straight, Costa Rica will transform anyone who experiences it the way us lucky contenders did! My advice to anyone going to Costa Rica is to be careful, as you may never come back the same… if you ever come back at all! Pura Vida!
