[Much sent 6 people to Costa Rica for some serious adventure - watch it all go down on Tuesday, December 29 @8pm ET, December 30 @5pm ET and January 3 @7pm ET!]

When I got the call about this show I didn’t know what to expect. I was excited and ready for a new adventure. First thing was arriving at the airport at 3am tired and wired, where I met the other winners. They were easygoing people with all a personality of their own. From there our journey began; we had no clue what was in-store for us. MuchMusic didn’t tell us anything that was about to take place, except that we’d be surfing.

Arriving in Costa Rica was awesome! The flights seem to last forever. Upon arrival we were greeted at the airport by a lovely sign reminding us that it is illegal to sleep with women under 18 in Costa Rica, quite a random first sign to see (lmao).

After a bumpy, near death cab ride we made it, and the filming began. The second we arrived at the resort we checked in and found tons of free Ripcurl stuff in 3 piles, each with our name on it, and a fridge full of alcohol! Then the producers revealed the first twist of the week – we had to shotgun beer race as the challenge, which I got my ass whooped in. After that I realized that these twists and surprises would be happening all week, so I had to be ready for anything.

The next couple days were planned out and busy with nonstop activities including: drinking, surfing, horseback riding, taking a mud bath by a waterfall, zip lining, nude cliff jumping (Greg), face-planting (Angie), doing yoga on a cliff, crazy challenges, massages, more drinking, more surfing, vomiting(?), skinny dipping (which I had no part of LOL) and much more. We loved every minute of it, and each day was crazier than the last.

Finally the last day came, and we all came to the realization that our trip in paradise was coming to an end. We woke up, had 5 smoothies each and headed to the beach one last time. After the 5am surf session we kissed our surfboards goodbye, and gave some hugs to the amazing people of Del Mar surf camp saying bye. We then started our journey home, and we all became a lil depressed of the fact we were leaving, but knew we would cherish that amazing week as one of the best times of our lives. I’m sure that all 6 of us now are trying to live the Pure Life we experienced in Costa Rica! Thanks MuchMusic!
