Don’t drink the kool-aid at an Avicii concert

June 26th, 2014

Concert-goers at Avicii’s Boston show were treated to a little more than just sweet beats. Dozens of people were hospitalized after the DJ’s show. Three dozen people were hospitalized while another 50 were treated and evaluated on the scene. Although there is no official reason for the hospitalization, it is clear it was drug and alcohol related. It’s obvious that people weren’t just pumping their fists that night.

The Swedish DJ tweeted his response to the incident.

This isn’t the first time fans had to be hospitalized after an Avicii concert. Last month 29 people had to be hospitalized at Avicii’s Toronto show for similar issues.

It’s no secret that people usually like to “turn up” before rave-like shows like this. With Digital Dreams music festival in Toronto this weekend, people should be more careful when deciding to get turnt.
