Yup. And try not to LMFAO even more at this – Billboard.com calls Paris Hilton’s sophmore album “long-awaited”. Were you waiting for it? Well, whoever was long-awaiting this release, they can rest assured because Paris Hilton is indeed heading back into a recording studio six years after her debut album, Paris.

She’s teaming up with LMFAO for the lead single, set to be released in late spring. Afrojack is producing the album, and it’s scheduled to be released early this summer.

And if LMFAO + Paris Hilton seems weird to you – it’s actually not. They’re childhood friends. In an interview with MTV, Hilton said “I’ve known them since I was a little girl…we grew up together ’cause our parents are friends, so I’m just so proud of them and all their success and what they’ve done ’cause they’ve just created this whole ‘Party Rock’ brand and it’s just so awesome.”

As for what we can expect from the as-of-yet-untitled-album, Hilton also said “I’m going with a whole new genre…so we’ve just been coming up with the most incredible tracks.”

Besides “Stars Are Blind” I’m don’t remember what her last album sounded like. So, if she’s going with a whole new genre…well, more power to her.
