Downey, Avatar win at Golden Globes

Avatar was the big winner at the Golden Globes last night.
James Cameron took home Best Director while his sci-fi flick about blue people was awarded Best Motion Picture – Drama.
Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Sherlock Holmes netted him Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical. He joked about Avatar’s dominance in his speech.
Sandra Bullock proved she wasn’t just a favourite at the box office, winning Best Actress in a Drama for The Blind Side.
The long-lasting effect of The Hangover earned it Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical. Mike Tyson joined the director and cast on stage to accept, though, without his tiger.
On the TV side of things, Glee won Best Series – Comedy or Musical, while Mad Men took the Best Drama Series.
