Dr. Dre teams up with Best Buy

Best Buy is teaming up with Dr. Dre’s headphone line Beats and Monster Cable and to launch a new DJ-oriented department in its stores.

The big box retail chain is making space for a new section called “Club Beats,” which will allow customers to try out everything from related music and video to the latest technology products including DJ equipment, mixing software, turntables, headphones and laptops.

To help get the word out, Dre, Lady Gaga and Will.i.am will take part in special performances promoting “Club Beats.”
