Drake Countdown: 1 Day!

OMG. This is what I’ve been waiting months for: Drake in concert, in Toronto, tomorrow night. *scream*

I know you’ve heard the hype – this guy is a superstar in the making, working with the biggest names in hip-hop and he hasn’t even signed a record deal yet. “Best I Ever Had” is a radio and club hit and he’s selling out shows like he was going on a retirement tour. His story is a real testament to how the internet and mixtapes are changing the hip-hop game in full force. And yes, he used to play Jimmy on Degrassi.

If you love hip-hip, I’m pretty sure you already have the So Far Gone mixtape… but if for some reason you don’t, do yourself a favour and download it now (sidebar, right). Every song is a killer, and my favourites are constantly changing. And for the rest of you going to the show tomorrow night, here’s a teaser – Drake performing “November 18th” in Houston. This is incredible – he doesn’t have to do a thing cause the crowd does it for him.
