Drake & Florence: No Collabo’s On New Albums

Ceremonials and Take Care by Florence and the Machine and Drake respectively, are due out in just a few weeks of each other (October 31 and November 15). And we know the two are really good friends. And that they’ve always wanted to work on a track together.

Do you smell a collaboration coming? Cause if you do, get your nose checked. There isn’t one on the horizon, at least not for their upcoming albums.

Florence Welch recently told MTV “we haven’t actually done any recording together…whenever I see Drake, we always just end up kind of hanging out, which is equally fun, but no, we haven’t done anything together yet.”

While they’ve both expressed interest publicly in the past about recording with each other, they’re just too busy at the moment. Says Welch “”I think we’re both big fans of each other’s work…if we would have the time it is something I would definitely like to do, but we’re both really busy.“
