Drake gets re-bar mitzvah’d in music video for HYFR

Just in time for Passover, Drake dropped his re-bar mitzvah video for HYFR this weekend and included clips from the rapper’s real bar mitzvah (HYFR for his 90s vest swag). Shot in one day both inside and in front of a synagogue, Drake re-enacted his bar mitzvah, this time with a few extra friends watching. Birdman, DJ Khaled, Trey Songz and Mack Maine all appear in the video, with Lil Wayne sporting a panda mask for the majority of his verse.

Drake’s video for HYFR comes on the heels of his second music video release in the past three days, this time for his Take Care collaboration with Rihanna. The video for HYFR is definitely original in its concept and while done in a satirical style, HYFR can be another example of Drizzy’s approach to being an open book (or Torah) with his fans whend discussing his personal life.
