Drake Premieres Lil Wayne Jail Freestyle Online

Lil Wayne won’t let prison bars stop him from getting new music out there. Drake recorded a freestyle rap by Weezy over the phone from Rickers Island Prison where Lil Wayne is held. Weezy raps over Drake’s song “Light Up” featuring Jay-Z off of Thank Me Later. Drake premiered the freestyle over UStream Tuesday night and has said it is “one of the most incredible Lil Wayne verses [he's] ever heard.”

I tuned in to the UStream in the last few minutes. Unfortunately, the highlight of my viewing experience was one fan saying that her heart was pounding out of her ass which prompted a look of discomfort from Drizzy Drake. But, luckily the clip from the Ustream session featuring the Weezy rhyme has hit the web and you can check it out after the jump.

Also, Drake will be performing at this year’s MMVAs which air on MuchMusic on June 20.
