Drake’s new single “Over” is already on heavy rotation all over North American radio stations and Drake talked to MTV about what to expect from the video. “It takes the song to another place. The song to a lot of people is ignorant; its club. The song is like a bad dream. It’s not a terrible dream but its a little evil,” he said. “The video really reflects that.”
Drake launched his Away From Home Tour Monday night in Pennsylvania with Francis and the Lights and k-os. He also debuted the much-talked-about “Fireworks,” which will be on the new album.
Drake also said about the “Over” video that, “It’s the struggle between the purities of my past life and what this new life has to offer. In the video I don’t necessarily make a decision but when you get the album you’ll see what choice I made.” His debut album, Thank Me Later, will be released on June 15.Tweet
