Drake to voice a character in Ice Age 4

It’s been announced that Drake is the newest cast member to join the fourth installment of the animated children’s film Ice Age. Playing the role of Ethan (Ezzy?), Drake joins Keke Palmer, Jeremy Renner, Aziz Ansari, Wanda Sykes, Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Denis Leary and the newly announced Jennifer Lopez to round out the cast.

While Drake was in talks to star in the upcoming film Arbitrage, he recently backed out of the project to focus on his second studio album, Take Care. Ice Age will mark the first time the actor and rapper has been involved in an on-screen part since his Degrassi days, where he played Jimmy Brooks for seven seasons.
