Drake announced Monday night that his debut album, Thank Me Later, will be released on June 15.
The album was supposed to be released on May 25 but the date has been pushed back three weeks to allow for finishing touches. One single from the album, “Over” is already on heavy rotation on radio stations all over North American.
Drake launched his Away From Home Tour Monday night in Pennsylvania with Francis and the Lights and k-os. He also debuted the much-talked-about “Fireworks,” which will be on the new album.
He told MTV last month, “I wanted to emerge at first from this album and just let people know ‘This is how I’m coming out in the public eye. I’m ready for anything.’”
