We are now officially less than two weeks away from the release of Drake’s third studio album, Nothing Was The Same, set to be released on Tuesday, September 24. The Toronto MC has been promoting the new album in a variety of ways, from his MTV VMA performance featuring the first two singles Hold On We’re Going Home and Started From The Bottom, as well as showing some love from his OVO crew on Instagram, where Drake has posted pics of his friends wearing a variety of shirts and jersey’s featuring the album name.
Drake has now released a thirty second trailer for the album, which doesn’t actually feature music from Nothing Was The Same, but does include a convoy of beautiful cars sporting Canadian flags while driving through the streets of Toronto.
I like the trailer, I really do. It’s slick and regal and features Canada in a good light, which is always nice to see. And I love me some Drizzy. I’m also super hyped for Nothing Was The Same. But isn’t this trailer kinda showing that everything is the same?
We already know Drake loves cars.
Really, he’s a car guy.
And he loves cars in Canada.
But even more than cars, he loves his country.
Seriously, the man is a patriot. Shoppers Drug Mart in a music video? Let’s just make Drizzy the Prime Minister and call it a day. YMCMB – Young Minister Canadian Minister Bureau.
If we’re gonna get specific, he loves Toronto.
Like, loooooves it.
Maybe the new album should be called Nothing Was The Same Except For A Few Things.Tweet
