Earworm Of The Week: Band Of Skulls

Lately there have been a bunch of songs that I’ve had on repeat for the simple fact that they are recently released singles or that the song is just that good. A few of them include Crying Lightning by Arctic Monkeys, My Love Was There by The Junction & Bad Medicine by Die Mannequin. And today I added Band Of Skulls’ single I Know What I Am to that growing list.

This single has got a hook that is way too catchy! After one listen you’ll definitely be hooked, at least I was after one listen. It kind of reminds me of the White Stripes/Dead Weather mixed with some Wolfmother and a hint of classic 70′s rock.

On their MySpace they have 3 other songs listed and none of the three are similar to I Know What I Am, actually the other songs have a less dancy feel to it and more of an alternative/brit-pop sound.
