Remember Peter, Bjorn And John? They had massive traction for nearly TWO YEARS with their peskingly catchy single Young Folks (which I would have enjoyed if not for the whistling - if you know me at all you know I loathe whistling, and the only whistling song I can tolerate is Guns ‘N Roses’ Patience), which radio stations, DJs and blogs overplayed and for nearly a 24 month period between 2006 and 2008.
Anyway, the Swedes are back with a new album (their fifth), Living Thing, out March 31. After 2006’s Writer’s Block the band released the instantly forgettable Seaside Rock as a digital-only release but there’s new hope with Living Thing.
The first single, Nothing To Worry About is as dangerously catchy and addictive as anything on the excellent Writer’s Block, even if it sounds nothing like it.

Hey! I thought I was the only one who hated whistling in songs.
It’s a deal breaker for me. Really, I can’t tolerate it, not even in G ‘N R.
