Norway’s Röyksopp have a brand new album (their third!) called Junior and it’s out March 23. It features pretty much every cool Scandinavian female vocalist out there (including Robyn, Lykke Li and Karin Dreijer Andersson of The Knife).

Their previous albums (Melody A.M. and The Understanding) both went #1 in the UK and other European countries, and after hearing the new single Happy Up Here I have no doubts Junior will do the same.

Röyksopp have long held a position in my top 10 list of electronica duos (more on that later!) and they’ve really reeled me in with this new track. I dare you to listen to Happy Up Here and not bop along in awe at how terrific it sounds. It’s…well…happy. And perhaps just what we need during a temperamental and dismal winter like this one.
