While scarfing my third bag of Mini-Eggs of the season, I came to the distinct realization that Easter truly has the best candy. Hands down, no question. I mean, sure – Christmas has what, candy canes? Just kidding. So Christmas has its Pot of Gold and Quality Street and Toblerone (which, by the way, I hesitate to count as an xmas candy, since it’s ubiquitous year long); Halloween has its wee choco bars and .. stupid candy corn; Valentine’s Day has normal candy dressed in pink (worst… holiday.. ever).. but EASTER! Oh, Easter.

Easter is a real winner. You’ve got hollow chocolate eggs filled with more chocolate. You’ve got malted robin’s eggs. You’ve got perfect little foil-wrapped chocolate eggs. And if Toblerone is counted as an xmas candy, then Kinder Eggs sure as heckfire count as Easter candy.

But, with no doubt in my mind, here are the TOP EASTER CANDIES!

1. Mini Eggs. Apparently only recently they didn’t have these in the states. Luckily those poor bastards are now rolling in candy-coated, eggy goodness.

2. Creme Eggs. Don’t hate on the fact that once bitten, it looks like actual egg innards, because it tastes nothing but DELICIOUS.

3. Chocolate Bunnies. Because we were all 4 once, and it still feels good.
