2013 MMVAs on June 16!
Finale Friday 7E/4P
September 24th, 2012
There must be something in the water in the United Kingdom because two of our favourite artists are collaborating again! In an interview with MTV News, Ed Sheeran gave Directioners a cause for delight by hinting that the next 1D single might be one that he had written for the group. Previously writing Moments for Up All Night and with writing two of the songs on One Direction’s upcoming album Take Me Home, it is clear to see that Ed has a great connection with the boys.
Ed talked about the songs saying, “One of them is kind of a getting-back together song. One of them is an appreciation song… I can’t say the titles. The song that I think will be the single, one of the singles, is kind of a very sweet song.” Ed touched on the songs further saying, “It was written about the best things about someone, kind of like the things you wouldn’t expect. You’ll have to hear it. I can’t really say too much ’cause it’s their album. I want them to be the first ones to announce it and stuff.”
Now be prepared to get your “Awww!” on. Ed also explained where his muse came from stating, “… They’re the same subject matter as the last song I wrote for the last album ’cause they’re from the same batch of songs… They’re both about my ex-girlfriend.”
