Ed Sheeran covers Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars

Ed Sheeran performed an intimate concert on Monday night for 250 Free Radio fans in the UK, a big shift after wowing 80,000 Olympic fans at the London Closing Ceremonies on August 12. Sheeran sang a haunting cover of Snow Patrol’s break out hit Chasing Cars and has given the original a run for its money in terms of the wow-factor.

Sheeran was the opening act for Snow Patrol’s North American tour this past spring before dropping out of the tour early to return to the UK, citing ‘personal reasons’. Sheeran returned to the road soon after, headlining his own tour in June and beginning again this September.
