Elijah returns on Friday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries

On Friday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries (read the recap here), we learned that Connor, the new vampire hunter in town, is part of ‘The Five’. While we’re still not sure what that means, I assume these sneak peek pics showing a flashback will explain. And Elijah is back! He has his old-school ridiculous hair, but he’s back! Plus, Bonnie makes a field trip to a college and meets with a professor. Could he have the answer to her missing powers?
Check out the sneak peek under the jump of Friday’s brand new episode of The Vampire Diaries at 8 pm ET, following a new episode of Arrow at 7 pm ET.
