Elizabeth Banks: The Hunger Games Torture Couture

Effie Trinket, played by the immeasurable Elizabeth Banks, is definitely one of the flashier characters in the Hunger Games book series. And judging by the outtakes and photos released from the film, she’s going to look FAB-FAB-FABULOUS.

Of course, fashion isn’t free, and Elizabeth Banks had to pay through comfort. She says that all the costumes were torture! “My favourite costume is when we’re watching the show, and I’m in the big green [dress with] poufy sleeves. I love that outfit; it was the most comfortable.”

The film’s costumes definitely look like they’re something to be squeezed into. Regardless, I am tres excited about this premier! Did you grab your tickets for the midnight showing tonight?!
