Ellie Goulding’s new album Halcyon will be released in October

Ellie Goulding will be returning this fall with her follow-up to 2010′s Lights. Her new album, Halcyon, will be out on October 9 and will include all new songs written by Goulding herself.

The majority of this album was recorded in a coverted barn in Hay Valley, England and was produced by Jim Elliot, who also produced records for Kylie Minogue and Ladyhawke.

“This album for me is a journey from dark into light from confusion to understanding,” Goulding says, in a press release. “I didn’t set out to write a breakup record but I think it became one.”

Her new single, Anything Could Happy, will be released next month and you can take a sneak peek at the album cover below!
