Emeli Sandé covers Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall

Emeli Sandé has been taking the music industry by storm and she is forcing people to take pause with her heartbreaking rendition of tour mates and fellow Brit performers Coldplay’s single, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall. Emeli first broke into the industry by writing for artists like Leona Lewis, Cher Lloyd, and Tinie Tempah. Her work has also garnered praise from the hardest man in the game to impress, Simon Cowell. Simon commented on her writing prowess stating that she is his, “favorite songwriter at the minute.” Coldplay has been a strong influence for the twenty four year old singer as Emeli has said in interviews, “I’ve had a few conversations with Chris [Martin] and I see them when they’re coming on and I’m going off, but the main thing I’ve learned from them is seeing them onstage and how it all operates.”
