The build-up to the 2009 American Music Awards is only getting bigger now that Eminem and Lady Gaga have been added to the ceremony.

The two stars will perform at the 37th annual AMAs on November 22nd, airing live from L.A.

The show will also feature performances by Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, and Jennifer Lopez, as well as American Idol successes Adam Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry and Carrie Underwood.

Despite the multitude of big names, it’s beginning to look like “The Taylor Swift Show” as the country artist is in the lead with six nominations, including Artist of the Year; Favorite Country Album (for Fearless); Favorite Female Pop or Rock Artist; and Favorite Female Country Artist.
