Eminem: Dissing Weezy & Kanye “would have been career suicide”

A few months ago Eminem put it out there that he nearly, nearly wrote a diss track cutting up both Lil Wayne and Kanye West.

In a recent interview with SPIN, Eminem revealed what gave him the urge to consider dissing two of hip-hop’s biggest stars. Shady admitted that during his hiatus he became jealous of Weezy, as he rose to hip-hop stardom.

As for Yeezy, Em says it was West’s actions at the MTV Video Music Awards last year. Of course, he was the last person to get around to talking about last fall’s hot controversy, the T-Swift/Kanye MTV VMA hijacking. “He shouldn’t have done that, man. I mean, she’s a little girl,” he said.

Way to be on the ball, Marshall.

Of course, Slim Shady recognized what would have happened had he released the diss track. “It would have been career suicide,” he said. Yes, yes it would.
