Eminem has begun working on a new album

Eminem’s been busy helping his Shady Records label mates Slaughterhouse finish their new record, Welcome To: Our House (out August 28), but the rapper has assured us that he has also begun working on his own album.

“I kinda been really hands-on with this album for the past year,” Eminem says, about his work with Slaughterhouse. “This has kinda been a pet project for me. I kinda been executive producing, producing, co-producing, mixing – just really hands-on with it and just really involved.”

As for his own album, the rapper doesn’t have any concrete details to announce yet, but reveals that he’s working on it now. “I actually started my album,” he teases.
