Eve suggests that Britney didn’t sing Scream & Shout

Eve threw some shade at Britney Spears recently when she suggested that the pop icon didn’t actually sing on will.i.am’s track Scream & Shout. When Eve was chatting with Andy Cohen for Watch What Happens Live, Andy asked Eve about Spears’ British accent on the Scream & Shout for will.i.am’s upcoming album, #willpower and Eve replied, “I heard that might not be Britney”. Andy tried to clarify asking Eve, “Really? Why? It’s someone else in the studio?” Eve answered, “That’s what I heard, but, you know, I don’t know. It could be Britney. But I heard it wasn’t. I don’t know.”

Publicist Jeff Raymond told TMZ that such a suggestion is “absolute BS” and that “Britney sang the song. Will.i.am wanted her for this song and she sang on it.” Do you think Eve is just trying to drum up press for the first album in eleven years she has in the works or do you think Britney wasn’t in the studio with will.i.am?
